Dear Mr. Denton:
On October 2, 1986, a telephone conversation was held between Darl Hood and James Lazevnick of the NRC staff, and Scott Gewehr and Neal McCraw of Duke Power Company. The call was held to discuss Duke's Technical Specification change submittal (reference: Letter, H.B. Tucker to H.R. Denton, April 15,1986) re-garding Generic Letter 84-15.
As a result of this call various changes, largely administrative and/or minor in nature, are being made to the submittal. These changes will make the McGuire submittal more closely resemble the corresponding already-approved North Anna Power Station Technical Specification. The attachment contains the Technical Specification pages affected by the April 15, 1986 sub-mittal as amended by the October 2 telecon. The changes to the April 15 submittal relative to the telecon are numbered in the left-hand margin, and listed at the end of the attachment. No additional Significant Hazard Consideration (SHC) analysis is reqt h ed for these changes, due to relatively insignificant and/or administrative nacure. The Justification, Safety Analysis and SBC analysis presented in the April 15, 1986 submittal remain valid.
