Inspection Report No. 50-219/87-08
This refers to the routine safety inspection by Messrs. W. Bateman, W. Baunack,
and J. Wechselberger from March 9 - April 19,1987 at the Oyster Creek Nuclear
Generating Station and a region-based review of the containment integrated-
leakage rate test results by Dr. J. Chung. The inspections consisted of docu-
ment r.eviews, interviews, and observations of activities as documented in the
enclosed inspection report.
The findings were discussed with you and other -
members of your. staff at the ~ conclusion of the inspection.
An apparent violation of NRC requirements is' cited in Appendix A and categor-
ized under the General Statement of Policy and Procedure for NRC Enforcement
Actions, 10 CFR ~ Part 2, Appendix C (Enforcement Policy 1986).
A reply is
required and should be prepared in accordance with Appendix A.
