D' "g ' b....f Docket No. 50-443 g i ; 1933 MEMORANDUM FOR: Thomas M. Novak, Acting Director of PWR Licensing-A, NRR FROM: William F. Kane, Director, Division of Reactor Projects, Region I

SUBJECT:

ATTACHMENT 1 TO SEABROOK STATION UNIT 1' OPERATING LICENSE By memorandum dated August 27, 1986, Region I forwarded to you Attachment 1, " Work Items to be Completed," for incorporation into the Seabrook Station Unit 1 Operat-ing License, NPF-56. Due to continued work activity by the licensee and inspection by Region I, it is no longer necessary to include Item 2.C on Attachment I to NPF-56, as a license condition.

Accordingly, Region I recommends that Item 2.C which discusses the reinspection of service water system piping for liner detachment problems, be removed as a license condition of NPF-56. However, as indicated in the attached PSNH letter, the licensee has committed to reinspect a service water piping spool during each refueling outage. Region I will determine at a later date whether this commitment to conduct reinspections during each refueling outage should become a full power license condition.

William F. ane, Director Division of Reactor Projects
