PEER REVIEW GROUP (DP0 86-04)
Based upon discussions with your respective Division Directors, you have been appointed to serve as an impartial peer review group in the matter of a differing professional opinion (DPO) submitted by an instructor at the NRC training center. A copy of the DP0(s) and associated comments by line manage-ment are enclosed.
The subject matter deals essentially with the training afforded primarily to the staff in the projects' organization. Accordingly, I request that you re-view, evaluate, and provide written comments on the substance of the issue so that a recommendation can be developed for the Director, IE. The Region I representative (Sam Collins) is designated chainnan of this group.
Please familiarize yourselves with NRC Manual Chapter 4125, and I request that a written report be submitted within 3 weeks.
