Enclosed herewith, please find, three (3) copies of Appendix C of the WHIPJET final report.
This appendix contains proprietary information on the properties of ferritic steel base metal and weld metal.
Appendix C has been developed by Robert L. Cloud Associates, the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) and Stone and Webster Engineering Corporation for Duquesne Light Company.
It includes data that was specifically obtained for BVPS-2 by EPRI from Ontario Hydro, Toronto, Canada. This data has not been released to the open literature.
The request for withholding this information from public disclosure in accordance with 10CFR2.790 is enclosed.
This application for withholding is being made by Duquesne Light Company on behalf of its subcontractor on this project, Robert L. Cloud and Associates (affidavit attached).
