This acknowledges the receipt of your' letter dated August 22, 1986, by which you transmitted Revision 11 to the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS), Units 1, 2, and 3, Physical Security Plan, dated August 1983. .

We find the changes submitted by the subject letter to be consistent with the provisions of 10 CFR Part 50.54(p). Accordingly, they are acceptable for inclusion into the plan except for references on the list of effective pages to plan revision 10 changes which have been submitted to NRC Headquarters for review. As indicated in our letter dated November 12, 1986, portions of the Revision 10 changes were required to be submitted to NRC Headquarters for review. That office will respond regarding those changes.

The attachments to your letter are being withheld from public disclosure because they contain Safeguards Information end must be protected in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR Part 73.21.
