SUMMARY
- HARRIS NUCLEAR PLANT - DOCKET NO. 50-400 This letter refers to the meeting conducted at your request in the Region II Office on July 30, 1986.
The meeting related to licensed operator simulator examinations and problems associated with electrical cable separation at the Harris facility.
Enclosed are summaries of the meeting topics.
It is our opinion that this meeting was beneficial, and provided for clarifi-cation of the schedule and method by which the NRC would verify reactor operator simulator proficiency and also to better understand the extent of the cable separation problem and the program that Carolina Power and Light (CP&L) will use to verify adequate cable separation.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of NRC's Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter and the enclosures will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
