Subject:
. Radiation exposure due to PT of cask welds -Reply Mr. Martin, On the PT exposures:
I just checked again today with Ken Lambert (Rill point of contact for Point Beach HP) and ANO, and they don't have that information for me yet.' They hoped to have it Monday,10/26. Palisades didn't do PT on
. their previously loaded casks. I will let you know Tuesday what I have received.
. On the UT exposures:
The update from Point Beach tells me that their UT personnel received 40 mrem total on the second cask s
they loaded, which was full of water inside. Personnel received 160 mrem on the first cask which was partially drained of water inside due to other requirements (drain down time commitments). They will likely track UT and PT exposures separately when they load their third cask in November.
Previously,' I reported that ANO stated they averaged 10 mrem total per cask (water inside and outside the cask during the UT). Also, Palisades averaged 45 mrem per cask (dry inside and out).

. Any word on the PT exposures? I'll take estimates if you don't have the actual data. I'm looking at this as part of a DPV on cask welds.
.Thanks.
