Mtg w RSO at RJReynolds -Forwarded -Fonvarded Brian, Hers is the info that I have.
NC reported to us thht there are 25 leaking Sr-90 sources at RJReynold's plant in NC.
. SLB did not have any information on how many devices were involved, or details on how much contamination there is. They were in devices that contain three 6 mCl sources.
I talked to Mrc Munford Schumacher,' Senior Vice President of Hauni Richmond, to try to 3 find out additional details. He has not heard of this and has no details. He is going to make a few calls to see what he can learn and call me back. He says that he thinks we will have to wait until Basinger comes back on Monday and ask him instead.
According to Steve, Darrell Basinger, of Hauni Richmond, has been in Germany regarding the incident. He is due back in the Richmond office on Monday,11/25.

Hauni Richmond The state of North Carolina reported to NMSS on November 20,1996, that there are 25 leaking Sr-90 sources at RJ Reynold's plant in NC. The devices contain three sources per device and it is unclear how many devices are involved or the extent of contamination, if any. The devices contain three 6 mci Sr-90 sources. No further details were given.
