Pursuant to yesterday's telephone conversation we are sending you this informiition regarding allegations of intoxication of members of your  ;

'As we discussed yesterday, the NRC has neither the reg iatory basis or resour'ces to conduct investigations into such matters, and for the prr:sent feels that thase are best handled by the licensee. We are nevertheless greatly concerned by these allegations, and you should keep us informed of the results of your inquiries.

The essence of the allegations are as follows:

(1) During the week prict to Christmas,1982, an acouaintancejf the . alleger observed a Cooper Nuclear StationL at at Missouri, service station during the early morning hours.
