On May 6,1982, Jim Levine, General Manager, Arkansas Poner & Light .

Company (AP&L), infomed the Senior Resident Reactor Inspector that the local sheriff alleged drug usage on the part of twc ACEL empicyees working at Ario.

2. According to Mr. Levine, th(twe AP&L employees, subsequently identified as and' sub".itted to polygraph examination.

M r. Levine remarTed that both emcloyees denied drug use and successfully passed the polygrap6.. Mr. Levine esplained it.at the employees agreed to submit liquid samples for analysis; however, af ter they passed the polygraph, AP&L declined the of fer for liquid samples and returned the employees in question to duty.
