ISSUANCE OF NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL OF APPLICATION (TAC NO 56561)

In response to your letter dated April 20, 1988, the Comission has issued a Notice of Withdrawal of a Portion of an Application for Amendment. This notice i- relates to your application dated August 19, 1985, as revised December 19, 1986 for proposed changes to the technical specifications (TS) to allow relief from Limiting Condition of Operation for several specifications. The April 20, 1988 withdrawal request applied to TS 3.3.3.5, "Remote Shutdown Instrumentation";

the other items in the application for amendment were approved in Amendment No. 142, dated May 11, 1988.

The Notice has been forwarded to the Office of the Federal Register for publication. A copy of the Notice is enclosed for your information.
