The United States Nuclear Regulatory Comission (the Comission) has granted the request of Portland General Electric Company (the Licensee) to withdraw its August 16, 1985 app 1tcation as supplementcd December 19, 1986, toamendtheTrojanNuclearPlantTechnicalSpecifications(TS). The proposed amendment would have revised the Technical Specifications to allow relief from Limiting Condition of Operation 3.0.4 for several specifications. The Comission issued a Notice of Consideration of Issuance of Amendment in the Federal d Reoister on February 10,1966(53FR3958). By letter dated April 20, 1988 the licensee stated that a portion of the above application for amendment, TS 3.3.3.5, "Remote Shutdown Instrumentation," was withdrawn. The other items in the application for amendment were approved in Amendment No. 142, dated May 11, 1988.
