SECY-86-352 - REQUEST FOR HEARING ON SHEARON HARRIS EXEMPTION REQUEST The Commission is being asked to act on an order which responds to e request from Wells Eddleman and the Coalition for Alternatives to Shearon Harris for a hearing on CP &
L's requested exemption from the requirement for a full scale emergency preparedness exercise within one year of issuance of a full power operating license.
Chairman Zech and Commissioners Roberts, Berthal, and Carr have approved an order (attached) which denies the requested hearing, finding that there are no material issues of fact that warrant a hearing.
Commissioner Asselstine is unavailable to participate.
