This letter refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr. R. A. McBrearty
of this office on September 9, and 12-15, 1988 at the Oyster Creek Nuclear
Generating Station in Forked River, New Jersey.
Mr. McBrearty discussed the
findings of the inspection with Mr. Eugene E. FitzPatrick at the conclusion of
the inspection.
Tb's inspection focused on the Oyster Creek inservice inspection program.
A eas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative
records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
