19 CFR 110 ABSTRACT:
The rule anends the general license renulations for the exnort of tritium when contained in luninescent licht sources and other itens and also adds tritiun to the list of definitions.
In recent years, the naxirun size of tritiun linht sources has increased -
sienificantly. In these larner quantities, it becomes technica11v easier to nxtract bulk tritiun from the linht sources and divert it to oroliferation sensitive end uses. Accordinoly, the revised requiation limits the exoort of tritium in any disnersed forn under a neneral license
' to 10 curies per iten,1,007 curies oer shiPrent, and 10,919 curies per nerson per year to any one country. This action precludes the exoort of large tritfun linht sources under the neneral license unless the tritium light source is installed in an aircraft as a safety device.
