REVIEW AND CONCURRENCE ON PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO 10 CFR PARTS 21,50, AND 54; REGARDING USE OF AN ALTERNATE SOURCE TERM AT OPERATING REACTORS in a memorandum dated October 9,1998, you requested RES concurrence on a Commission paper entitled " Proposed Amendments to 10 CFR Parts 21,50, And 54; Regarding Use of an Altemate Source Term at Operating Reactors."
This memorandum is to inform you that we have reviewed the draft Commission paper and ,
attached rulemaking package. I concur in this paper, with the attached comments. (These !
comments have been discussed with your staff and I understand that they are acceptable to them.) I request that you inform me of any significant changes made as a result of ACRS or l CRGR review, prior to sending this package to the EDO.
