(_) 1.0 SCOPE 1.1 Novide an overview of the Operations Department and areas of responsibility.

2.0 GENERAL 2.1 The Operations Department personnel operate the plant (the Operational Shifts); The Work Coordination / FIN support the shifts. The Operational shifts are led by Shift Managers. The Shift Managers are direct reports to the Assistant Operations Manager.

The Operational Organization is shown in Attachments 1,2,3, and 4.

3.0 OPERATIONAL SHIFTS 3.1 The Operational Shifts consist of personnel on shift who operate the plant. 5ach Shift reports to a Shift Manager. Figure 1, " Operational Shifts Organization," depicts the normal reporting relationships within the Shift Team. The responsibilities of Operational Shift personnel are described in Section 3 of the Operations Manual.

4.0 OPERATIONS WORK COORDINATION / FIN 3 4.1 Operations Work Coordination / FIN, Attachment 3, provides work planning and

( ) coordination of plant activities to ensure proper equipment status control by assisting with the planning, coordinating, communications, and recovery of plant equiprrent associated with maintenance, testing, and modification activities. The following list is a sample of Operations Work Coordination activities:

1. Unit coordination for the unit, common systems shared by other units, and substations
2. Review of daily planning for work and testing activities using the appropriate schedules
3. Assessment of planned activity risk l 1
4. Coordinate required resources, including the identification of manpower l requirements for Operations shift related activities l
5. Support the work control process with Clearances j
6. Coordinate outage preparation, execution, and recovery plan s 7. Develop plans for timely execution of work windows addressing Limiting Condition j i ) for Operations (LCOs)
8. Support a high degree of equipment availability through coordination of testing and maintenance of equipment d
