SUBJECT:
SHEAR 0N HARRIS INTERROGATORIES - VAN V0 HARRASSMENT ISSUE Enclosed for your review are interrogatories which the NRC must respond to concernir.g a contenton admitted in the Shearon Harris proceeding on the subject of possible harrassment of Mr. Van Vo. The admitted contention reads:
Chan Van Vo was placed on probation and later terminated from his job with CP&L because he had sought to raise nuclear safety concerns about the Harris facility, as he alleges, and not because of poor job performance, as CP&L alleges.
I expect you will be asked by either OGC (since they represent 01) or ELD (since they are involved in the hearing most directly) to respond to these inter-rogatories.
I am not yet aware of a formal reauest for your response, but the Agency reply is due February 25, 1985.
I will let you know if I receive any formal request for a response from ELD.
