This refers to the routine inspection conducted by Mr. -T. Rebelowski of this
office on June 13-17, 1988, at Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station, Forked
River, New Jersey, of activities authorized by NRC License No. OPR-16 and to
the discussions of our findings held by Mr. Rebelowski with you and other
members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report which is enclosed wii.h this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examinations of. procedures and representative
records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Your attention is directed to paragraph 3.5 of the enclosed Inspection Report,
which identifies an unresolved item regarding administrative control of

Emergency Operating Procedure flowcharts.
Our inspector also verified the steps you have taken to correct the violations
brought to your attention in our letters dated February 14 and August 8, 1986.

We have no further questions regarding your action at this time.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
