was conducted by Mr. C. Amato and other inspectors of this office on May:11-1.2,
1988, at the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station, Forked River, New Jersey.
Discussions of our findings were presented by Mr. Amato1to you and your staff

at the conclusion of the exercise.
Areas examined during this inspection included observation of the annual
exercise and follow up of findings identified during the previous emergency
preparedness exercise as described in the NRC Region I inspection report which
is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of
selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews
with personnel and observation of the emergency exercise by team members.
