REQUEST FOR RULEMAKING - 10 CFR PART 20 NOTIFICATIONS ANM In consultation with representatives of NMSS and AE00, we have determined that a revision in the requirements for prompt notification in 10 CFR Part 20 is needed. The background for this de' termination is provided in the enclosed documents, as follows: notes current inconsistencies and suggests that the requirements be changed so that licensees are required to provide the prompt notifications only to the NRC Operations Center.
