This refers to Materials License SIM-1872, Amendment No. 02, issued May 30, 1985. The amendment was issued in response to your March 4, 1985 application for renewal, which was accompanied by a $120 fee.
Through an oversight, the license was renewed without the required fee being collected. Your application should have been accompanied by renewal fees totallina ^1,400 as specified in fee Categories IK
($350), 3N ($930), and 3P ($120)(and Footnote 1(c) of $170.31 of the enclosed 10 CFR 170. Footnote 1 c) states, in part, that "Applica-tions for renewal of mal.erials licenses and approvals must be accom-panied by the prescribed renewal fee for each category....".
You are requested to remit the additional $1,280 within twenty (20) days from the date of this letter. Payment should be made to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Consrission and mailed to my atter. tion.
