Dear Dr. Grace:
Please find attached two technical analyses to further support Duke Power Company's denial of Violation IV of the subject report. This information is in response to the NRC's letter of August 8, 1985, to Duke Power Company and as committed to in a letter of August 20, 1985, by H. B. Tucker.
Based on an October 25, 1985 telephone conversation between Mr. P. Madden, NRC/ Region II and Mr. H. D. Brandes, Duke Power, an extension until November 4, 1985, was granted for submittal of this information.
