-l VALVES, RESPONSE TO ANOMALIES, ST. LUCIE, UNIT 1, AND EVALUATION OF RELIEF REQUEST VR-22 TAC NO. M86317 The staff has reviewed information provided by Florida Power and Light Company 1
(FPL) in their letter dated February 2,1993, concerning anomalies identified in NRC's Safety Evaluation (SE) of February 26, 1992, related to relief requests for the St. Lucie Unit 1 inservice testing (IST) program for pumps and valves. The submittal provided FPL's response to anomalies for which the staff had requested a response within one year from the date of the SE.
The enclosed SE provides the results of the staff's review of the licensee's actions taken to address the anomalies and provides an evaluation of Relief Request VR-22 which was submitted in the licensee's letter of Aprii 19, 1993.
There are no outstanding issues as a result of this review.
This submittal completes the technical review to be performed by the Mechanical Engineering Branch under TAC Number M86317.
In accordance with Office Letter No. 907, a SALP input for this effort is also enclosed.
