This letter is in response to a March 10, 1997, letter f' rom Stoel Rives, LLP, attorneys that you requested to contact us on the subject matter. We have reviewed the proposed standby trust agreement between Reed College and Bankers Trust Company. This proposed standby trust agreement satisfies the decommissioning funding assurance requirements of 10 CFR 50.75, and, therefore, is acceptable.
