In 1933, the Office of Huclear Reactor Regulation (0HRR) completed their SEP review for the Oyster Creek fluclear Generating Station as documented in iluREG-0822 dated January 1983. By letter dated July 1,1985, your Corporation submitted support and isometric drawings for Control Rod Drive Return, Liquid Poison, flain Steam, Core Spray, Feedwater and Isolation Condenser system piping.
It is our understanding that the July 1,1985 sulxaittal is as a result of discrepancies in previously provided drawings used for the SEP review and analysis. As such, it is the ONRR staff's position that the review to assure that the conclusions reached in the SEP revit.w and analyses of 1983 are not changed by these new drawings is subject to the fee provisions of 10 CFR 170, as revised June 20,1984. This supplemental review required for the newly provided drawings is not exempt from fees as an SEP review item. The revised rule requires licensees to remit an application fee of $150 with each application for license amendment, relief, exemption and other request. Therefore, it is requested that your Corporation remit the required application fee of $150 for your July 1 request.
Your Corporation will be billed for any additional costs for the review of your application in accordance with 10 CFR 170.12(c) and 170.21.
