Beaver Valley Power Station - Unit No. 2 Docket No. 50-412 Supplenentary Infonnation for Review of Nltiflex 3.0

REFERENCE:

DLC Letter 2NRC-4-203, dated Decenber 10, 1984 Gentlenen:

A portion of the structural analyses perfonned by Westinghouse (W) for Beaver Valley Power Station Unit No. 2 (BVPS-2) utilized the N1tiflex 3.0 methodology.

This variation of the previously-approved Nltiflex code was submitted in the reference.

A followup meeting was held on Septeaber 19, 1985, with the appropriate NRC reviewers, Duquesne Light Canpany (DLC), and W in order to address NRC review questions on Nltiflex 3.0.

The intent oT this transmittal is to supplenent the infonnation in WCAP-9735, addressing requests for BVPS-2 plant-specific data and to resolve NRC conments which arose during the Septenber 19 review meeting.

Included are:

(1) Five copies of WCAP-11004 (Proprietary), which is supplenental information related to WCAP-9735, Rev.1 (Proprietary).

(2) Five copies of WCAP-11005 (Non-P roprietary), which is supple-mental infonnation related to WCAP-9736 (Non-Proprietary)

As iten (1) contains infonnation proprietary to W, it is supported by an affidavit signed by W, the owner of the infonnation~ The affidavit sets forth the basis on whicfI the infonnation may be withheld fran public disclo-sure by the NRC and addresses with specificity the considerations listed in paragraph (b)(4) of Section 2.790 of the NRC's regulations.

Accordingly, it is respectfully requested that the infonnation which is proprietary to W be withheld fron public disclosure in accordance with

10CFR Section 2.790 of the NRC's regulations.

Correspondence with respect to the proprietary aspects of the Application for Withholding or the supporting W af fidavit should reference CAW-85-080 and should be addressed to R.
