The recently established nuclear arm of Delmarva was described to us. It includes a resident representative at both the Salem and Peach Bottom sites and a nuclear and industrial engineer at the ,

corporate headquarters. The relationship between the nonoperating and operating owners at the sites was also all discussed. For matters involving capital expenditures, owners must agree before items can be budgeted. O&M costs are approved by an "O&M Committee." It should be noted that 40% of Delmarva's total O&M costs (nuclear) support 16% of their  ;

generating capacity.

We discussed Delmarva's financial liabilities, given they were They a listed owner on the licenses for Salem and Peach Bottom.

stated that they were fully responsible for "their share" of expenses. I asked if the site representatives felt free to communicate with the NRC and was informed that the site representatives knew and were known by the NRC's resident inspectors.
