Dear Dr. Grace:
13 Please refer to my letter to you dated May 8, 1985, which discussed OIE Inspection Report 84-23 for Browns Ferry regarding Vendor Manual Controt -
2 Program. On May 30, 1985, Floyd Cantrell of your staff discussed with R6h Guthrie of the Browns Ferry staff the schedule for the Browns Ferry Vendor Manual Program.
As a result of that conversation, we are providing this status update on our commitments.
Phase I - The GEK manuals identified to be controlled in phase I have been placed in a controlled program and the adjunct plant instructions have been evaluated. We consider phase I of our commitment complete.
Phase II - Work has begun on phase II to support the initial systems identified at Browns Ferry to be addressed in the procedural upgrade program.
A detailed schedule for phase II manuals will be submitted to you by August 1, 1985 as agreed in our conversation.
If you have any questions, please get in touch with R. E. Alsup at FTS 858-2725.
To the best of my knowledge, I declare the statemento contained herein are complete and true.
Very truly yours, TENNESSE : VALLEY AUTHORITY
