A:nos Director of Health Xissouri Department of Health & Welfare State Office Building Jefferson City, Missouri Dear Dr. Amost With reference to our letter to you dated July 23, 1956, this is to inform you that on August 10, 1956 the Atomic Energy Comunission issued a revised Special Nuclear Material license to the Mallinokrodt Chemical Works, St. Louis, Missouri. The'ievised lisense authorized the company to receive and possess, in addition to the material previonely lioensed,1.1 kilograms of U-235 contained in uranium enriched up to 20% in the isotope U-235 for conversion, at its Hematite, Missouri plant, to uranium azide.
