This is in partial response to your letter dated May 8, 1985, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, all documentation pertaining to Anny Corps of Engineers and NRC analyses of the potential for a debris dam blocking the natural outlet of Spirit Lake to rupture and affect the Trojan Nuclear Power Plant and the current status of the permanent tunnel the Corps proposed to install.

The enclosed Appendix A identifies documents which are being made available for your inspection and copying at the NRC Public Document Room (PDR),1717 H Street, NW, Washington, DC 20555. The documents will be filed in PDR folder F0!A-85-353 under your name. Appendix B identifies documents which the NRC l
