Dear Dr. Weyzen:
Thank you for sending me a copy of the chronology of events entitled-
- Mancuso Health and Mortality Study *. It fits in well with our chronology of'3RC involvecient in this ::atter.
As you know, the Offics of Standards Oevelopment of ":1C issued an RFP to have the Hanford Ibrtality Data, as were analy:nd by Dr. Charles Land, analyzed by other independent scientists. The precosals have been received and avaluated, and the Selection Board will be meeting early next mnth to choose the c::mpetitive range.
Since the issuance of the RFP, Dr. Mancuso cecmunicated with Dr. Kastner criticizing the fiRC action in this matter (see Attachment 1). Dr. Kastner's reply to Dr. Mancuso was dispatched on June 19,1973 (see Attachment 2).
Dr. 'tancuso responded to the June 19 reply frem Kastner on June 22. 1973, and stated that copies of all of the data in his possession had been turned over to DCE (see Attachment 3).
Would you please provide me with those H.inford Mortality data additional to those which constituted tue base for Jr. Land's study. D.ey should be in the for:n in which they werle given on the printout of the tace which I sent to ycu.
