.HELT ACCIDENTS: CASEWORK REVIEWS FOR GESSAR, LIMERICK, FNP (FIN A3711)
The enclosed NRC Form 173, Standard Order for DOE work, is hereby

submitted in accordance with Section III.B.2 of the DOE /NRC Memo-randum of Understanding, dated February 24, 1978.
Funding authorization in the amount of $600,000 has been provided in my letters of December 30, 1982, January 24, 1983, August 8, 1983 and August 25, 1983.
I have reviewed your proposal, dated September 12, 1983, and find it acceptable, subject to the modification, attached. The modification,'which has been discussed with T. Pratt of BfA. deletes some portion of the work scope.
The enclosed order authorizes incremental funding in the amount of
-$400,000 to continue work in accordance with the BNL proposal dated September 12, 1983, and requests a revised proposal, without attachment, to reflect the reduced program value. Additional FY 84 funding will be authorized upon receipt of the revised proposal.
