NARRATIVE
SUMMARY
Month:
May 1985 McGuire Unit 2 was prevented from restart from their end of cycle 1 refueling outage due to valve repairs on May 1.
Also during startup on May 5 and 6, the feedpumps tripped. The unit returned to service on May 8, and operated at 100% until May 16 when Generator Hydrogen was lost forcing a manual trip. The unit returned to service on May 17, and operated at 100% for the balance of the month.
