s As a general note,' the' staff evaluated the SIR in responso to Comission

the' conclusions reached in this analysis are supported, they are not M
based on current information and they r;ay be out-of-date.
In response' to the recent Comission decision on SECY 78-35A, the staff has prepared a letter to State Depart. ment asking'for further information. h'he n. thi s inf crr.ation is available to ti!!SS staff, staff conclusions will bef-updcted and refined.
Incidentally, although Mr. liosenzo's criticism of Table V is unjustified, his conclusion with regard to the Tarapur reactors is not inconsistent with inforr,ation available to fr.SS.
IP has no objection to this paper.
