On August 1,1988, this matter was discussed with E. T. Pawlik of the Office of Investigation Region III Field Office, and it was concluded that investigative effort by 01:RIII is not warranted at this time for the reason given below.
Should additional facts or infc.. nation relating to possible wrongdoing concerning this allegation become available, please notify me promptly.
This allegation will continue to be carried as "open" in the Allegation Management System pending final resolution / closeout by your Division.
Please note that this is the second anonymous allegation received by Region in about drug use by Palisades employees assigned to the night shift.
l The previous allegation, RIII-87-A-0139 was received on October 20, 1987, when an individual called the resident inspector and asked questions about the licensee's drug testing program.
At that time the caller indicated he would l
warn co-workers on the night shift about the arrival at the site of the licensee's mobile urinalysis laboratory.
