SUBJECT:
ALLEGATION RECEIVED JULY 29, 1988 On July 29, 1988, a telephone call was received at the Palisades Resident's office at approximately 11:30 AM over the Consumer's Power internal line from a man failing to identify himself.
He inquired as to why random drug testing was not performed during the night shift.
It was explained to the caller that random drug testing was company policy and that the Resident Inspector was not immediately available to field the question.
At this point the caller was informed that he could be referred to William Axelson at the Region III Office.
The caller then replied, "0K, I could turn in all of them potheads that have f
been out there smoking.
Give me the number." The caller was then given the i
number, replied "thanks" and hung up.
Immediately af ter the call was placed, Bruce Jorgensen and William Axelson were notified of the receipt of the call.
It was William Axelson's determination that the call should be handled as an allegation and this memorandum be submitted.
