Licensee Event Report 50-296/2020-001-00 The enclosed Licensee Event Report provides details of an automatic actuation of the sites Emergency Diesel Generators due to an offsite lightning strike. The Tennessee Valley Authority is submitting this report in accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations 50.73(a)(2)(iv)(A), as an event that resulted in an automatic actuation of emergency AC electrical power systems, including the Emergency Diesel Generators.
