The Ccamission met to discuss the draft order prepared by the Office of the General Counsel (OGC) concerning the need to consider the complicating effects of earthquakes on emergency planning for Diablo Canyon.
Chairman Palladino requested that the Commission offices prepare marked-up versions of OGC's draf t order and provide them to OGC within one hour, approximately, from the end of the current meeting.
(Subsequently, the mark-ups of the draft order were provided to OGC.)
The Commission requested that OGC prepare a revised, marked-up version of the order using the comments from the Commission offices.
The Commission requested that OGC provide this document no later than 12 noon, Tuesday, July 31, 1984.
(Subsequently, a revised order incorporating the comments provided by the Commission offices was provided to the Commission.)
The Commission indicated that it would consider affirming a draft order on Thursday, August 2, 1984.
