. OF OPERATION AND MAJOR MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE This report describes the operating and major maintenance experience for:the month of December, 1984. This narrative report was prepared by the plant staff and is submitted in accordance with Section 6.9.1.10 of the Plant Technical Specifications.

On December.5, 1984, Unit 1 experienced a reactor trip.

On December 6, 1984, Unit 1 axperienced a reactor trip.

On December 15 1984, Unit i experienced a turbine trip.

On December 15, 1984, Diesel Generator 1-2 autostarted due to undervoltage on 4KV Bus G.

On December 5,1984, a drain line off the main steam line from Steam Generator 1-1 developed a leak that was repaired by replacing a section of the drain line.

On December 12, 1984, turbine power was reduced and the turbine was tripped to.

permit the scheduled removal of the Feedwater Regulating Valve Volume Boosters.

There is no major safety-related maintenance to report.

On December 15, 1984, Steam Generator Safety Valves RV-7 and RV-9 opened to relieve pressure in SG 1-2.

No challenges to the PORVs have been madei No changes have been made in the Offsite Dose Calculation Procedure, the, Environmental Radiological Monitoring Procedure, or any radioactive waste treatment systems.
