I&E Bulletin 80-11 Joint Reinforcement in Masonry Walls

REFERENCE:

PSC Letter to E.H. Johnson from 0.R. Lee Dated November 8, 1983 (P-83364)

Dear Mr. Johnson:

This letter is to inform you that on July 6,1984 Public Service Company of Colorado has completed the construction work for rein-forcing those masonry block walls in which credit had been previously taken for the Dur-0-Wall joint reinforcement.

No structural credit is now taken for the Dur-0-Wall in the masonry block walls located near safety related equipment at FSV.

Mr. Wagner of the NRC was advised on July 3, 1984 that the completion date for this project would be delayed a few days from the original July 2,1984 date as stated in the referenced letter.

Mr. Wagner agreed that this would be acceptable and requested that the NRC be notified as soon as the project is complete.
