ISSUANCE OF SUBSEQUENT RENEWED FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE NOS. DPR-32 AND DPR-37 FOR SURRY POWER STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2
Dear Mr. Stoddard:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC or the staff) has issued Subsequent Renewed Facility Operating License Nos. DPR-32 and DPR-37 to Virginia Electric and Power Company (Dominion), for Surry Power Station, Units 1 and 2 (Surry), respectively. The NRC issued the subsequent renewed facility operating licenses upon completion of the staffs review of your application dated October 15, 2018 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML18291A842), as supplemented by the following letters:

D Stoddard Subsequent Renewed Facility Operating License Nos. DPR-32 and DPR-37 for Surry expire at midnight on May 25, 2052, for Unit 1, and January 29, 2053, for Unit 2.
The technical basis for issuing the subsequent renewed facility operating licenses for Surry is set forth in Safety Evaluation Report Related to the Subsequent License Renewal of Surry Power Station, Units 1 and 2, (ADAMS Accession No. ML20052F520).
The results of the environmental review related to the issuance of the subsequent renewed licenses are given in the Record of Decision which is provided as Enclosure 3 to this letter and in NUREG-1437, Supplement 6, Second Renewal, "Generic Environmental Impact Statement for License Renewal of Nuclear Plants, Regarding Subsequent License Renewal for Surry Power Station, Units 1 and 2, Final Report, (ADAMS Accession No. ML20071D538). to this letter is Subsequent Renewed Facility Operating License No. DPR-32 and Technical Specifications for Surry, Unit 1. to this letter is Subsequent Renewed Facility Operating License No. DPR-37 and Technical Specifications for Surry, Unit 2.
No changes were made to the Technical Specifications as a result of this subsequent license renewal. is the Record of Decision. is a draft copy of the related Federal Register notice of issuance of the renewed licenses as sent to the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
