In a July 28, 1983 letter, Georgia Power Conipany described the plans for conipletion of Item II.K.3.18 at Plant Hatch.
It was stated that a modification to the ADS logic involving b pass of the high drywell pressure f
permissive after a sustained low water level and addition of a manual inhibit switch would be inplemented, provided that an analysis resulted in a sufficiently long bypass timer setting.
Preliminary results of the analysis indicate an acceptable timer setting; therefore, the above referenced modification will be implemented.
As stated in the July 28, 1983 letter, the modifications will be empleted by the end of the 1985 refueling outages for both Hatch units.
Technical Specification changes will be subnitted following cmpletion.
Please contact this office if there are any questions.
