Th2 purpose of this 1ctter-is to provide you with notification of an Abnormal Occurrence as required by. Technical Specification 6.6.8. l.a. within 24 hours2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br /> of the occurrence.
At 8:00 p.m. on April 18. 1975, during the emeroency core cooling system simu-lated automatic initTation test, 28 core spray purr.p failed to start Irnrrediately cfter receiving the initiation signal.
It did start, howaver, after Bus 24-I

was transferred to the 1/2 diesel generator and could have also been manually Started.
Upon investigation, a loc:;c contact was found and tightened in tha normal power supply auto initiation portion of the brccker closing circuit.
The emergency povr' r supply auto Initiation portion and the manual portion of the breaker i
e closing circuit were both found intact.
The pump was retested on AprII 20, 1975, cnd started satisfactorily..
