At 8:00 p.m. on April 18. 1975, during the emeroency core cooling system simu-lated automatic initTation test, 28 core spray purr.p failed to start Irnrrediately cfter receiving the initiation signal. It did start, howaver, after Bus 24-I

was transferred to the 1/2 diesel generator and could have also been manually Started. _

Upon investigation, a loc:;c contact was found and tightened in thaThe normal power emergency supply auto initiation portion of the brccker closing circuit.

i povr' e r supply auto Initiation portion and the manual portion of the breaker closing circuit were both found intact. The pump was retested on AprII 20, 1975, cnd started satisfactorily..
