Oyster Creek No.1 Main Steam Isolation Valves Docket No. 50-219 I!> &-f On December 24, 1969,' Mr. George H. Ritter, Vice President of Jersey Central Power & Light Company wrote you with respect to the retesting of the main steam isolation valves at Oyster Creek Unit No.1.
In accordance with Mr. Ritter's letter, the scheduled shutdown for the testing of all four main steam isolation valves co:::menced on January 31,197m The valves were tested according to accepted test procedures and corrected to meet Technical Specifications before the unit was restarted. Results of the tests were reviewed and accepted as meeting all applicable Technical Specification requirements.
A detail report has been prepared by the Plant Operations Review Committee, as required by Section 6.3 A of the Technical Specifications to Provisional Operating License No. DPR-16, and is herein forwarded you as a supplement to Mr. Ritter's letter.
