This is to confirm the April 13, 1984 telephone conversation between Mr. K. V. Hate' (CP&L) and Mr. A. Hardin (NRC).
Mr. Hardin was informed that the March 14, 1984 potentially reportable item, pertaining to several 32" carbon steel mainsteam elbows having wall' thickness readings that were below the minimum values specified by the design documents, has been evaluated and considered not to-be reportable per the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e) and 10CFR, Part 21.
