All electrical Energization required to support the Primary Hydro is complete. All Unit 1 electrical systems are energized except for:

2 lighting load cen.ters 8 cooling tower load centers 3 miscellaneous MCC's Problems:

1 Design proposal for watertight enclosures for outside MCC's is still pending. (ENGR & CE request anoth'er demostration).

Engineering resolving. NCR to be generated.

DEMINERALIZED WATER AND INSTRUMENT AIR:

Four Instrument Air Subsystems are in final testing and completion of open items is underway. Should release the four Instrument Air Systems to APS in March. Packages presented to APS for walkdown.

Demin Water Subsystems are complete enough for Startup Support. DWO3 (power block) flush complete. The package will be ready for release to APS in March.

Problems: &

1. Complete packages, documentation and walkdown on IA.

Additional personnel to support Release Package preparation expected on , ,

PALO VERDE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION START-UP SCHEDULE ANALYSIS UNIT ONE

' ' STATUS AS OF MARCH 5,1982 PRLVRY HYDRO Five (5) of the eight (8) preoperational teet procedures required l of Primary Hydro are approved and issued for testing. Procedures i 91PE-lCH03 and 91PE-1CH04 are at the Plant Review Board this week.

The remaining procedure, 91PE-lCH07, was resubmitted to the Test Work Group on February 26th and, af ter incorporation of comments, is estimated to go into final review the end of this week.

J

{ SECONDARY HYDRO i

The Secondary Hydro procedure, 91CM-lSG01 was approved by the Plant Review Board February lith with outstanding comments to be incorpor-ated for issuance.

i CONDENSER VACUUM The partial preoperational testing of the main turbine gear has been included to the scope of the Condenser Vacuum milestone. Of the six (6) procedures now required for this milestone, one (1) has been

' resubmitted to the Test Work Group for final comment and/or final approval, and five (5) are in start-up internal review. It should i be noted that all of these procedures are non-safety and Test Work Group approval is the final review phase for their issuance.

HOT FUNCTIONAL Of seventy-four (74) preoperational test procedures required for the Hot Functional Testing milestone; forty-seven (47) are into or have completed the drafting phase, forty-two (42) of these have been submitted for internal start-up review. -Twenty-one (21) of these procedures have gone to the Test Work Group for review and fourteen

  • (14) of which have been approved. Nine (9) procedures have been sub-mitted to the Plant Review Board to date, seven (7) of which have been approved..
