This refers to the routine resident safety inspection by Pr. J. Thomas on June 2 -
July 5,1962 at the Oyster Creek liuclear Generating Station, Forked River, I!ew Jersey.
The inspection consisted of document review, interviews, and observation of
activities. The findings were discussed with you and tir. J. Carroll of your staff.
An apparent violation of flRC requiren'ents is cited in Appendix A and categorized
under the !!RC Enforcerent Policy,10 CFR 2 Appendix C (47 FR 9987, Tiarch 9,1902).
A reply is required and should be prepared in accordance with Appendix A.
It is
exenpt from the Office of flanagement and Budget's clearance procedures under the
Papenvork Reduction Act of 1980, PL 96-511.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a), a copy of this letter and the enclosures will be
placed in the liRC Public Document Roon unless you notify this office, by telephone,
within tcn days of the date of this letter and submit written application to withhold
infomation contained therein within thirty days of the date of this letter. Such
application nust te consistent with the requirerents of 2.790(b)(1). The telephone
notification of your intent to request withholding, or any request for an extension
of the 10 day period which you believe necessary, should he nade to the Supervisor,
