RESPONSE TO GENERIC LETTER 90-03, " VENDOR INTERFACE FOR-SAFETY-RELATED COMPONENTS" - CALVERT CLIFFS NUCLEAR POWER PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2, TAC NOS. 76218 (UNIT 1) AND 76219 (UNIT 2)
On March 20, 1990, the NRC issued Generic Letter (GL) 90-03, " Relaxation of Staff Position in GL 83-28 Item 2.2, Part 2 ' Vendor Interface for Safety-Related Components'." The GL 90-03 requested that all licensees and applicants review their present vendor interface programs and modify them as necessary using the guidance provided in GL 90-03.
By letter dated September 24, 1990, you responded to GL 90-03 and indicated that your existing programs have been implemented in accordance with the guidance provided in the GL. We have reviewed your response and find it acceptable.
This completes our action relative to the referenced TAC numbers.
